Hermann’s Jazz Club April 2 from 1-3 pm: New Orleans jazz, swing standards of the Big Band era with Victoria’s best of the best musicians. CanUS began as a quartet in 1991 & specializing in Boswell Sisters material meant being musicians who could also sing. They’ve kept that tradition in what is a 7 pc. band and gave up travelling but remain here in their home club beginning their 32nd year to share an amazing repertoire of music from the earliest days of jazz. Bob Cadwallader, trombonist for years with Dixieland Express will replace Simon who’s away and Damian Graham will be on drums. Join us for an afternoon in an outstanding club ambience including live music, full food and bar service in a unique experience rarely found. All ages welcome and physically very accessible.
Also featuring Alfons Fear, Al Pease, Avram McCagherty, Joey Smith, Toni Blodgett
