2x Western Canada Music Award Winner and Juno Nominee Oliver Swain hosts a night of all things Americana featuring yodelling outlaw Petunia and guitar & pedal steel virtuoso Tyler Lieb.

Oliver Swain's career has spanned decades working with some of the best in the Americana genre from Pharis & Jason Romero to the king of Cajun music, Mark Savoy. Since his early days exploring the Appalachian Mountains and the Mississippi Delta, Oliver has discovered the roots of American music for himself and travelled the world performing at many of the the most loved festivals and venues including The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Byron Bay Blues Fest, Tondor Fest and all of the largest Folk Festivals in Canada.

Petunia is more than just an entertainer, he’s a modern musical enigma. Imagine that David Lynch and Nick Cave had a hillbilly baby, that yodeled… or Tom Waits meets Elvis at Woody Guthrie’s hobo junction. This is just one way of describing the man known simply as Petunia. He’s an adventure seeker, a poker player, and a mysterious stranger. He’s been referred to as “The Savior of Country Music”, and a man who exists in a different era, bringing the past forth as something new to be celebrated and not forgotten.

Tyler Lieb is that rare triple threat, equally at home on a telecaster, a pedal steel or a Martin. Able to play in genres as diverse as Country, Bluegrass, Road House Blues and Rock & Roll, Tyler is one of Victoria's most in demand live and recording artists.
