New Orleans jazz, swing standards of the Big Band era with Victoria’s best of the best musicians. CanUS began as a quartet in 1991 & specializing in Boswell Sisters material meant being musicians who could also sing. They’ve kept that tradition in what is a 7 pc. band and gave up travelling but remain here in their home club beginning their 32nd year to share an amazing repertoire of music from the earliest days of jazz. New to the group is an Australian star of traditional jazz with a world-wide career,Simon Stribling, to settle here in Victoria and wife, Lauri drummer replacing CanUS founding member, Don Leppard. Join us for an afternoon in an outstanding club ambience including live music, full food and bar service in a unique experience rarely found. All ages welcome and physically very accessible.
