This will be an electrifying evening celebrating the music of legendary pianists and composers Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. The Attila Fias Sextet explores their compositions, from the early albums of modern jazz to the later eras of funky, groovy fusion tunes and soundscapes. The journey also ventures into the vibrant Indian-influenced music of John McLaughlin, alongside compelling original tunes by Attila.
This dynamic ensemble of Victoria's top jazz improvisers performs with expressive fire, as they seem to read each other's minds and have a live conversation in music on stage. Experience them build intricate textures and spin musical threads that evoke a spectrum of emotion - they'll make you dance in your seat with rhythms and grooves that pulse, melodies that soar, and a performance that will exhilarate and captivate you, in an evening that moves and inspires.
