Bob Wiseman (original Blue Rodeo member) and Mike Boguski (current Blue Rodeo pianist), two of Canada’s most unpredictable keyboard minds, are taking turns dismantling and reimagining what a solo piano set can be. One piano. Two artists. Zero cowboy hats.

BOB WISEMAN
Bob Wiseman was a founding member of Blue Rodeo, with whom he won 5 Juno Awards. He is a film composer, songwriter and author. Wiseman discovered or produced many artists, including Ron Sexsmith, The Lowest of the Low, Bruce McCulloch of Kids in the Hall, Anhai, and former Canadian member of parliament Andrew Cash. Bob has released 13 albums, including such guests as Daniel Lanois, Mary Margaret O’Hara, Eugene Chadbourne, Edie Brickell, Ron Sexsmith, Jane Siberry, Basia Bulat and Serena Ryder.

MIKE BOGUSKI
As keyboardist in Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees Blue Rodeo, Mike Boguski is regarded as one of the country’s finest instrumentalists, having appeared on each of the band’s albums since 2009’s ‘The Things We Left Behind.’ Boguski’s own musical range and ambitions extend far beyond his work with Blue Rodeo. Fans of Mike Boguski’s solo work have been treated to hearing the Blue Rodeo keyboardist venture into a range of sounds from jazz fusion to experimental composition, to original songwriting in recent years, and he’s continued to refine those recordings in an effort to provide the best representation of his musical vision. That process continues with new editions of his solo albums Here’s To Tomorrow/Goodbye To Yesterday and Blues For The Penitent.
