Seth Leupold is a young bassist, drummer, and bandleader from Victoria, BC. Seth works as a sideman and leads multiple permutations of his groups.
The Large Group aims to represent the modern approach to creative improvised music.
This group features some close friends who have played together for years and a couple of new friends who have joined us recently. The group will be exploring the music of Chief Adjuah (Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah) and his concept known as "Stretch Music," which he describes as the revaluation of what we know as jazz in the context of our modern world.
