JUNO Nominee and three time Canadian Blues Female Vocalist Of the Year winner Miss Emily brings her unique soul-blues to the West Coast!
From March 21st to March 28th, Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo, Chilliwack, Gabriola Island and White Rock area residents will experience the unique, roof-rattling, soul revealing vocals of international touring and multi-award winning Miss Emily.
Based out of Kingston, Ontario as a full-time singer/songwriter for over 21 years, Emily will be performing a series of shows in the region, including solo, duo and full band appearances featuring Nanaimo-based super-talents Graham Shonwise on bass, Phil Wipper on drums and Kelly Fawcett on guitar. Audiences will be treated to a dynamic show overflowing with soulful performances, unique insight and hilarious stories from the road.
Visiting the West Coast for her sixth tour here in five years, Miss Emily reflects “Getting to make music for a living allows me to visit the regions of the world I most love. The West Coasters know they live in paradise. I’m always in awe of the beauty this part of the world boasts and I’m always heart-warmed by the equally beautiful music lovers who make me feel so welcomed and at home here.”
With a new Miss Emily album produced by Colin Linden slated for release later this year (The Medicine), a new batch of music will be unveiled during this tour. The shows will feature songs written and recorded by Miss Emily and are guaranteed to have audiences on their feet roaring for more.
