Pianist Ashley Wey will start the night off featuring her trio, which includes Louis Rudner on bass and Graham Villette on drums.
She will feature music composed by the great Ashley Wey and her versions of older songs, including songs such as Blackbird, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds by the Beatles, and songs written by Paul Simon including Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes and 50 ways to leave a lover, in the style of Ashley Wey.
Ashley Wey will open the second set with The great Barrie Sorensen and Miguelito Valdes featuring her original compositions, true to what she conceived the the music to be featuring two horns alongside music written by Roy Hargrove.
