A romantic blend of genres, Sales’ nostalgic voice and timeless songwriting harkens back to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald or Judy Garland, but with a unique, modern twist. “There’s a real showbiz, old school entertainer vibe about her music,” (LA Weekly) with songwriting that “fits squarely into the Great American songbook” (Billboard). Her stripped back piano led pop music effortlessly fuses elements of jazz and soul, and radiates with a quality both intimate and powerful.

Hayley's introduction email to Hermann's:
I have recently finished my latest album and have some time on my hands between now and when we start the album cycle early 2024. I’d absolutely love to come to your venue and perform. I would be performing solo with the piano/ singing. I most recently toured across Europe and the UK opening for Rufus Wainwright which was a dream. My love of jazz goes back to my days as a kid in Washington D.C. I performed at the WWII Ace Pilots convention at thirteen :) All that aside, I had several Top 10 singles as a teenager (with a very different style of music) and have since been working on an album of the music I hold most dear to my heart. The songs are original, but harken back to the 1940s. One of the co-writes on the record is written with Sharon Stone.

“What a pleasure it has been to work with Hayley, she is a true artist. She cares more about getting the truth of her art right than anything else. I cannot wait to be there to see her sing this on stage. Maybe even more than hearing on the radio. She is gorgeous, pure, true: the real deal.” — Sharon Stone
