The Department of Hispanic & Italian Studies at UVic invites you to a “Night of Spanish Poetry and Music”. Come and celebrate the end of our academic term with a bilingual community event. It will feature poetry readings from famous Spanish poets, Spanish classical music performed by pianist Daniel Jordan, Spanish wine, and tapas. Experience the art and culture of Spain in a casual environment.
If you are interested in reading a pre-assigned poem, please contact Prof. Dan Russek ([email protected]). This is not a test of your reading skills! We encourage everyone to participate in a relaxed atmosphere."
