CanUS & Friends
Sun. April 3rd 2022 1:00 - 3:00 doors at 12:00 (All Ages) With TWO SPECIAL GUESTS & traditional jazz at its best!
One fan said that "He never wants to miss a CanUS session at Hermann's because he never knows what wonderful surprise might be in store! “ AND THE DANCE FLOOR is open again. Bob Cadwallader joins CanUS to take the place of Simon on trombone...Damian Graham takes the place of Lauri on drums who are both away for a family tribute service. Bob is well known by many of you after his years of being trombonist in "Dixieland Express Jazz Band” and Damian Graham is in so many bands I’ve lost count and his talent very familiar to CanUS fans. Having performed all across Canada, USA and Europe, Damian has been busy changing the way people think about the drums. Born in New Zealand and raised on the west coast of Canada, Damian's musical diversity has led to performances with some of the finest musicians in the country and abroad.
Our guests join: Alfons Fear, trumpet….Al Pease, reeds…Avram McCagherty, banjo…Joey Smith, bass….Toni Blodgett, piano all bringing the music of the early jazz and swing eras to life. This music led Hermann to open a jazz club 41 years ago. Music brings its own bliss and lucky are we who enjoy the privilege of making music together. Bring a friend - book a table and away we’ll go, get back to our history of good times together again.
