Miguelito Valdes will present a 75 minute set, followed by a jam with UJAM summer campers!
UJAM is a week-long jazz music summer camp for amateurs and musicians of all ages. Hermann's UJAM shows give the campers an opportunity to jam with a headliner band. This show will feature Internationally recognized trumpet player and percussionist, Miguelito Valdes who will be accompanied by Ashley Wey on piano, Louis Rudner on bass, and Mike Zimmerly on drums and cymbals.

From humble beginnings in Cuba to displaying his artistry on some of the biggest stages in the world, trumpet player Miguelito Valdes now calls Victoria home. He continues to wow audiences while bringing a little taste of Cuba to the Island. Miguelito has performed with greats including Michael Brecker, Herbie Hancock, and many many more.
