Vest Plays Monk (Part 2)
The David Vest Trio plays the music of Thelonious Sphere Monk. While the setlist will be completely different from last month’s show, the object will be the same: to dig into the Monk catalogue with both hands blazing. Expect to hear “Round Midnight, “ “Well, You Needn’t,” “Ruby, My Dear,” “Rhythm-a-Ning” and some lesser-known tunes that deserve to be heard more often. David Vest (piano), Ryan Tandy (bass) and Damian Graham (drums).
