Award-winning saxophonist, pianist composer and band-leader Mike Allen has made a name for himself across Canada and beyond. Numerous, critically acclaimed recording as a leader and collaborator have Mike in demand at festivals and concert halls across North America and beyond. Mike's playing can reminiscent of the Sonny Rollins school of warm and playful tone or the virtuosity and soulful sound of Coltrane but Mike's sound and style are all his own.
