A hot band with smooth harmony - that is what has put local jazz band, CanUS, on the map both here and in the U.S.A. Jim Armstrong comes back to guest with CanUS for this special show.

A reviewer for "Mississippi Rag" wrote: "CanUS is a one-of-a-kind group.....with a sound unlike any other on the scene today, which is a tremendous accomplishment".

Altho' they have traveled extensively, they also hold down a monthly gig at Hermann's Jazz Club in Victoria Sundays from 4:00-7:00 pm with a dance floor, excellent food, and children welcome. It is not unusual to see several generations of one family as older ones try to pass on the tradition of swing and New Orleans jazz.
