Lorraine Nygaard Quartet presents A Tribute to Burt Bacharach

For an evening to remember, come to the club and join local singer-songwriter Lorraine and her stunning bandmates for this special tribute to Burt Bacharach.
We were transformed by the melodies of infamous Burt Bacharach, who made hit upon hit in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, and sadly passed, at the age of 94, in February of 2023 .
Unique and generous orchestration was typical during the decades of his biggest hits. Though that award-winning sound has changed over the years, the essence of the tunes' brilliance lives on. Offering stunning melody lines, Bacharach was in a class of his own. Lyricists like Hal David and Carole Bayer Sager wrote catchy, poignant messages, and we couldn’t get enough.

Lorraine has been delving into the music, and will interpret the compositions in her thoughtful way. This evening’s host band includes delightful Ashley Wey on piano, soulful Louis Rudner on bass, and creative Kelby MacNayr on drums and percussion. Special guests include Brian Tate, vocals; Roy Styffe, saxophone; and Patrick Boyle, trumpet. Each of these musicians is a genius in their own right. Coming together will provide an inspiring night of live music that you won’t want to miss.
