Jon Miller Quartet
“One of Canada's most exciting groups” (Luis Porreta, Quadwrangle Music). The Jon Miller Quartet is looking forward to their upcoming return to the stage at Hermann's Jazz Club for an evening of organ-jazz in the vein of Jimmy Smith, Larry Goldings and Jack McDuff. For this evening's in person and live-streamed performance, the group will be unveiling new repertoire along with past favourites (including Irvin Berlin's Puttin' on the Ritz) and least one selection chosen for Dia de los Muertos which starts at midnight on Nov. 1st.
This show will also differ from the past in many ways beyond new repertoire. Physical distancing measures will be in place at Hermann's, with live-streaming available for those unable to attend in person. The last time the group played was just before the lockdown in March 2020 which should make this return to Hermann's a very special occasion for both the audience and group members alike.
