Members of the Victoria Symphony return to Hermann’s Jazz Club for an evening of 1920’s, jazz-influenced chamber music.

The concert will feature a performance of the complete Façade Entertainments by Sir William Walton with poetry by Dame Edith Sitwell. Special guests Rebecca Hass and Robert Holliston will be the reciters and it will be conducted by Pacific Opera Victoria’s Artistic Director, Timothy Vernon. Also to be performed is the complete music from Bohuslav Martinů's ballet La Revue de Cuisine and George Auric’s Suite from Malborough s'en va-t-en guerre!

Members of the Victoria Symphony performing will be: Stephanie Bell, flute; Rebecca Hissen, clarinet; Joey Pietraroia, saxophone; Jennifer Gunter, bassoon; David Michaux, trumpet; Karl Williams, percussion; Müge Büyükçelen, violin; Alastair Money, cello; Robert Holliston, piano

Members of the Victoria Symphony, Timothy Vernon conductor, Rebecca Hass and Robert Holliston reciters, will perform at Hermann’s Jazz Club at 753 View Street on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. $25 general admission tickets can be purchased at the door or guaranteed seats can be purchased in advance at eventbrite.ca. Limited seating. ONE NIGHT ONLY.
