And the jazz lives on! The many, many years of performing in this delightful jazz club in Victoria that has become known world-wide and attracts an amazing calibre of talented touring musicians continues unabated. But through this, the local CanUS Jazz Band still going strong after 26 years continues to delight fans with their traditional jazz and swing repertoire. There are times when one of the regular CanUS Band members go such far off places as Dieppe, France to play the memorial there and thus opens space for a guest artist to make a special appearance with us. Today you will have the band joined by Alfons Fear on trumpet. Some of you know Alfons from his playing with Bastion Jazz Band and brings a very traditional New Orleans style to his performance. Also joining us for the afternoon is Al Pease, Canada's own Benny Goodman with a legion of followers from far and wide.
