It's HOT JAZZ!! It's DIXIELAND!! It's SWING!! It's RAGTIME!! AND THE BLUES!! And More!! New Orleans Jazz With Jazzy Three-Part Harmony Vocals & a Hot Band. CanUS has toured extensively in the U.S. including a concert on the Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. It was the first time a Canadian band had been so honoured.
This popular traditional jazz and classic swing group includes guest clarinet/tenor sax virtuoso Al Pease to complete their six piece band filled with exciting ensemble creations, outstanding solos and a strong vocal component. All ages are welcome and with superb food and drink service plus a dance floor it ticks off all the boxes for a lover of this style of music.
Musicians include the creme de la creme of professional musicians in Victoria, each one a star in his or her own right. They appear two Sundays a month 3-6 pm at Hermann's Jazz Club in Victoria with a history going back 35 years and with a strong following of fans.
