Tia Brazda’s sassy songs and pin-up girl style have made a startling impression at home and abroad, paying homage to the golden era while adding a modern twist. Her first EP ‘Cabin Fever’ burst onto the scene in 2012, hitting #1 on the iTunes Canada Jazz Chart and she followed that up with another #1 debut with her latest full-length album, ‘Bandshell’. The album was ranked as the #5 best Canadian jazz release of 2015 by Jazz FM 91.1 and also reached #24 on the CMJ Jazz Radio Chart in the United States after being added to over 35 stations nationwide. This year alone has seen Tia perform across Canada, the U.S. and Spain, including the main stage at the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival and the Toronto International Jazz Festival.
